Today we are going to talk about the most beautiful cultural sarees of Bengal. Bengali people are really as sweet as their Roshogolla (Rasgulla). Talking about Bengali culture, the Bengali sarees are indeed heartthrob. Bengali women, especially, are obsessed with sarees. It is said that a Bengali woman desires to inherit all the beautiful sarees of her mother. Well, those sarees are worth this much affection.

So, let's start with the list of 5 types of Bengali sarees must try in life!

Korial Saree

Korial Sarees are an amazing combination of white/off-white with typical red. There are more color combinations too, like golden and red, dark pink and white, but the most famous one is white and red. Bengali people believe, in context to this saree, that a divine woman power resides in the woman.

Tip- pair up a red/golden blouse with this and some golden neckpiece too.

Garad Sarees

The Garad Sarees are quite similar to Korial Sarees but are more expensive comparatively. The main difference is of the golden border on Garad Sarees and the Red border on this is a bit thinner and lighter in shade. This saree is lighter in weight than Korial sarees. Also, the Garad Sarees are considered to be superior than Korial sarees. Tip- pair a golden/red blouse and colorful flat footwear.

Tussar Saree

Tussar Silk Sarees are really very important in the list of most famous Bengali sarees. These are manufactured in many corners of West Bengal. The USP of these sarees is the Patta and Buti work. Baluchar- a village in Murshidabad is the origin place of Baluchari Sarees. These sarees are basically made of Tussar silk or pure silk. The beautiful prints and borders are just beyond stunning. Generally, the pallu of this saree remains unpleated, because otherwise, it would ruin the entire original look of the saree.

Tip- adding some statement jewellery pieces would be icing on the cake!
